Refund Policy
At Dorabi, we want you to shop with confidence. If something does not go as expected, our team will help you with the right resolution based on your order status, product condition, and our policy guidelines.
This Refund Policy applies only to orders shipped within India.
1. When Refunds Are Available
Refunds are available only in eligible cases and may be processed either to the original payment method or as a Dorabi Gift Card / Store Credit, depending on the reason for the request and the stage of the order.
A refund to the original payment method may be available when:

You cancel your order within 24 hours of order confirmation.

Dorabi cancels your order due to stock, quality, address, verification, fulfillment, or operational reasons.

Dorabi specifically approves a refund to the original payment method in an exceptional case.
If your order is cancelled within the valid cancellation window, your eligible product amount and any applicable shipping charges paid at checkout will be refunded.
Once the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, or once the order has moved ahead in processing or dispatch, we may not be able to reverse the payment to the original payment method. However, where eligible, your order value remains protected through exchange, replacement, or Gift Card / Store Credit options.
2. Refunds Issued as Gift Card / Store Credit
For most approved India returns and exchange-related cases, refunds are issued as a Dorabi Gift Card / Store Credit.
This applies to:

Approved change-of-mind returns

Approved returns for eligible non-customized items
-
Size exchange cases where the requested size is unavailable
-
Exchange cases where you choose another product
-
Balance amount where the exchanged item costs less than the original item
-
Approved COD return cases
-
Other cases where Dorabi approves store credit as the resolution
Gift Card / Store Credit helps ensure that your eligible order value remains safe with Dorabi and can be used toward a future purchase.
Gift Card / Store Credit is issued after the returned item is received, inspected, and approved by Dorabi.
Your Gift Card / Store Credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
Gift Card / Store Credit cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or refunded to the original payment method.
If a discount code was used on the order, the Gift Card / Store Credit value will be calculated based on the amount actually paid by you.
3. COD Orders
For Cash on Delivery orders, eligible refund value is usually issued as a Dorabi Gift Card / Store Credit.
In limited cases where Dorabi approves a monetary refund for a COD order, we may ask you to share accurate bank or UPI details through our approved support channel.
Approved COD monetary refunds may take up to 30 days after the required details are received and verified.
4. Non-Refundable Charges
We aim to keep the refund process fair and transparent.
Shipping charges, COD fees, Return to Origin charges, packaging or handling charges, and courier costs may not be refundable once the order has been dispatched.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, customer unavailability, failed delivery, or similar customer-side reasons, applicable costs may be adjusted before issuing any eligible refund or Gift Card / Store Credit.
If Dorabi cancels your order before dispatch, or if you cancel within the valid 24-hour cancellation window, eligible paid charges will be refunded.
If the issue is confirmed to be from Dorabi’s side, we will support the resolution as per policy and absorb applicable approved costs wherever relevant.
5. Return Approval and Inspection
All refund-related resolutions for returns and exchanges are confirmed after Dorabi receives and inspects the item.
To be eligible, the returned item must meet the return conditions mentioned in Dorabi’s Exchange & Return Policy.
If the item is used, washed, worn, altered, damaged, missing tags, submitted late, or sent without approval, the request may not qualify for refund, Gift Card / Store Credit, exchange, or replacement.
6. Refund Processing Timeline
Refunds to the original payment method, where approved, will be processed by Dorabi within 10 business days.
Banks, UPI apps, wallets, and payment gateways may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account.
Approved Gift Card / Store Credit will be issued within 7 business days after Dorabi receives, inspects, and approves the returned item.
