Shipping Policy

At Dorabi, we aim to deliver your order safely and reliably across serviceable locations in India. Please review this Shipping Policy before placing your order.

This policy applies only to orders shipped within India.

For orders shipped to the United States or Canada, please refer to Dorabi’s separate international shipping policy.

1. Where We Deliver

Dorabi ships across India to serviceable pin codes.

Delivery is subject to courier partner serviceability. In rare cases, certain pin codes, remote areas, or locations may not be serviceable if declared unavailable by our courier partner.

If your delivery pin code is not serviceable, Dorabi may cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.

2. Delivery Timeline

Dorabi’s standard India delivery timeline is approximately 10–12 days from order confirmation.

Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Timelines may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, sale periods, public holidays, local restrictions, pin-code serviceability, or other circumstances outside Dorabi’s direct control.

3. Custom Orders in India

Custom orders are available for India customers.

Custom orders are usually dispatched within approximately 12–15 days, depending on the item and order requirements.

Custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange unless specifically covered under Dorabi’s Exchange & Return Policy due to a confirmed Dorabi production issue.

4. Remote and Extended Delivery Locations

Remote or less accessible Indian locations may require additional delivery time.

For such locations, delivery after dispatch may take approximately 5–6 business days, depending on courier serviceability and local delivery conditions.

5. Sale and Peak-Period Delays

During sale periods, festive periods, major promotional campaigns, or high-volume courier periods, order dispatch and delivery may take longer than usual.

During sales, dispatch may take up to 15 days, and the overall delivery timeline may be extended by approximately 1–2 weeks.

6. Shipping Charges

Dorabi offers free shipping on eligible India orders of ₹999 or above, unless otherwise specified.

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before payment confirmation.

Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

If Dorabi cancels an order before dispatch, shipping charges paid at checkout will be refunded.

If a customer cancels within the valid 24-hour cancellation window, shipping charges paid at checkout will be refunded.

7. Payment and Currency

All India orders are charged in Indian Rupees (INR).

Dorabi may accept the following payment methods, subject to availability at checkout:

  • UPI

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Net banking

  • Wallets

  • Cash on Delivery, where available

PayPal is not available for India orders unless specifically shown at checkout.

8. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may be available for eligible India orders and serviceable pin codes.

COD availability may depend on order value, product type, customer history, and courier serviceability.

COD is not available for:

  • Custom orders

  • Certain high-value orders

  • Locations where COD is not supported by the courier partner

  • Orders or customers flagged for repeated failed deliveries, refusal, or COD misuse

A COD fee is generally not charged unless specified at checkout.

If COD is not available for an order, the customer must place a prepaid order.

Dorabi reserves the right to restrict future COD eligibility if a customer refuses delivery, repeatedly fails to accept orders, or misuses COD.

9. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, customers may receive order confirmation through:

  • Email

  • WhatsApp

Dorabi does not guarantee SMS confirmation unless specifically enabled for the order.

Customers should ensure that their email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, and delivery address are correct at checkout.

10. Order Processing and Dorabi-Side Cancellation

Dorabi may cancel an order within 3 business days if we are unable to fulfill it due to reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Stock or material unavailability

  • Fabric or trim quality issues

  • Incomplete or incorrect address

  • Unsupported pin code

  • Coupon misuse

  • COD misuse

  • Repeated failed deliveries

  • High-value order verification failure

  • Bulk order verification failure

  • Suspicious billing or shipping mismatch

  • Other suspicious activity flagged by Dorabi’s systems

If Dorabi cancels an order, the customer will receive a full refund to the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing timelines.

11. Order Verification

Dorabi may request additional verification before processing certain India orders.

Verification may be requested for:

  • High-value orders

  • Bulk orders

  • Suspicious billing or shipping address mismatch

  • Coupon misuse

  • COD abuse

  • Repeated failed deliveries

  • Other suspicious activity

If the requested verification is not completed, Dorabi may cancel the order and issue a refund where applicable.

12. Address Changes

Customers may request a shipping address change before dispatch.

Address changes after dispatch are not available.

To request an address change, please contact Dorabi through an official support channel before dispatch.

Dorabi cannot guarantee address changes once order processing has advanced or the order has been handed over to the courier partner.

13. Tracking Information

Every shipped India order will receive tracking details.

Tracking information is shared at dispatch.

Tracking updates may take time to appear after dispatch, depending on when the courier partner activates and updates the tracking link.

14. Courier Partner

Dorabi will select the courier partner based on serviceability, location, shipment type, and operational requirements.

Customers cannot choose the courier partner.

Dorabi reserves the right to choose or change the courier partner based on serviceability, cost, delivery location, or operational needs.

15. Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping may be available in select metro cities.

Expedited shipping is paid and subject to product eligibility, courier serviceability, location, and availability at checkout or through Dorabi support.

Expedited shipping is not guaranteed unless confirmed by Dorabi.

16. Delivery Attempts

Delivery attempts are courier-dependent and may vary by location.

If delivery fails after the courier’s available delivery attempts, Dorabi may contact the customer using the contact details provided with the order.

If the customer does not respond within 3 days, the order may be treated as unclaimed and may be returned to origin.

17. Return to Origin / RTO

Return to Origin, or RTO, means the order is returned to Dorabi or the shipping origin because delivery could not be completed.

RTO may occur due to:

  • Customer unavailability

  • Incorrect address

  • Incomplete address

  • Refusal of delivery

  • Failure to respond to delivery calls or messages

  • Failure to collect or accept the order

  • COD refusal

  • Courier serviceability issues

If RTO occurs due to customer fault, Dorabi may deduct applicable costs from any refund or credit, including:

  • Original shipping cost

  • RTO courier cost

  • COD fee, if any

  • Packaging or handling cost

  • Other applicable costs

In such cases, the customer may receive a partial refund or, in some cases, may not be eligible for a refund.

If RTO occurs due to courier error or Dorabi’s error, Dorabi may re-ship the order at no additional cost to the customer.

18. Failed, Refused, or Unclaimed Delivery

If delivery fails due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, refusal, COD refusal, or non-response, Dorabi may treat the order as failed, refused, or unclaimed.

For prepaid orders, refund eligibility will be reviewed after deducting applicable shipping, RTO, packaging, handling, and other costs.

For COD orders, Dorabi may restrict future COD eligibility.

19. Damaged Package

If the package appears visibly damaged, opened, or tampered with at the time of delivery, the customer should refuse delivery.

The customer must contact Dorabi with the order ID and package photos.

Dorabi may request additional proof, including product photos or video proof, depending on the case.

20. Lost Package or Delivery Dispute

If an India order is marked as delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer must report the issue within 48 hours of the delivery update.

Dorabi will assist with reviewing the issue with the courier partner where possible.

Claims reported after this window may not be eligible for resolution.

21. Missing, Wrong, or Incomplete Items

If the order contains a missing, wrong, or incomplete item, the customer must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.

Mandatory proof is required, including:

  • Order ID

  • Clear video proof

Claims submitted without required proof may not be eligible for replacement, refund, exchange, or store credit.
